Quaze builds wireless power infrastructure for autonomous systems. Its Surface Power technology turns a surface into a charging area, so a drone recharges by landing on it. No plug, no connector, no operator at the charging site.
The first product for tactical use is FOX, a portable charging node for short-range reconnaissance and FPV drones.
// St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QuebecEvery unmanned system on the market is autonomous right up to the point its battery runs down. Then a person walks out, swaps a pack or plugs in a cable, and the autonomy stops being autonomy.
That constraint sets the shape of an operation. Endurance is bounded by one charge. Reach is bounded by how far a person is willing to walk. And the moment of recharge puts a human at a known location, repeatedly.
NO CONNECTOREnergy crosses the gap by magnetic resonance. Nothing to plug in, nothing to align, nothing to corrode.
NO OPERATOR ON SITEThe node is emplaced once. Aircraft return to it on their own.
NO MOVING PARTSNo arms, no doors, no actuators. Nothing to jam, nothing to service.
NO ALIGNMENTThe whole surface charges. A landing anywhere on the mat is a landing on the charger.
FOX delivers wireless power in the field so drones can recharge themselves, away from the operator, in conditions where a cable would not survive.
FOX is a tactical, portable wireless charging node for short-range reconnaissance and FPV drone systems, engineered to recharge platforms in hostile conditions. It folds for carriage, deploys flat, and works with whatever power source is available.
FORWARD EMPLACEMENTCharging nodes go out ahead of the operator, increasing time on task.
CONCEALED DEPLOYMENTSupports emplacement under snow, sand, water or debris.
STANDOFFSeparates pilot location from launch and charging position.
LILY PAD ARCHITECTUREMultiple nodes chained for extended tactical reach and endurance.
PLATFORM AGNOSTICOne node serves a mixed fleet of SRR and FPV airframes.
LOW SIGNATURESystems can be powered down while charging and brought back up over IP radio.
PERCHINGA drone can sit on a node and act as a fixed sensor for far longer than its own battery allows.
FOLDABLEUnder 2 kg, folds for carriage in a backpack.

A single node extends one aircraft’s time on task. A chain of them changes the geometry of the mission. Each node is a place an aircraft can hold, recharge and continue from, which moves the limit on reach away from battery capacity and onto emplacement.
Conventional wireless charging needs a device placed on a coil, within millimetres, in one orientation. Quaze uses high-power magnetic resonance across a large surface instead, so the charging area is the whole mat and the device does not have to find a spot.
The same approach charges more than one device at a time, which is what makes a single node useful to a mixed fleet rather than to one airframe.
WIDE SURFACE61 x 91 cm charging area. No alignment required.
MAGNETIC RESONANCEHigh-power transfer at up to 6 cm standoff.
MULTI-DEVICEMore than one receiver on the surface at once.
CLIMATE PROOFEngineered for rugged environments rather than benign ones.
LOW EM SIGNATUREDesigned and shielded for minimal electromagnetic emissions.
SAR COMPLIANTEmissions held below regulatory Specific Absorption Rate thresholds.
PERSISTENCEProvides SRR and FPV operation without physical connectors or operator presence at the charging site.
REACH AND ENDURANCEExtends ISR reach through multiple distributed autonomous charging nodes.
DENIED ENVIRONMENTSSupports covert forward deployment in denied and austere areas.
HETEROGENEOUS FLEETSAlignment-free charging across mixed SRR and FPV platforms.
SURVIVABILITYSeparating the pilot from the launch and charging position reduces exposure.
SYSTEMS PER OPERATORRemote charging raises the ratio of systems to people.
