A tricopter lift system gets Trichon™ airborne from any patch of ground with no launcher, no runway and no ground equipment. Once up, it transitions to the wing, where a 150 cm span carries it for 60 to 90 minutes with a payload aboard.
That combination is the point: the endurance and range of a fixed wing, without the site requirements that normally come with one.

Hover is expensive and cruise is not, so the figures below separate the two. Hover-only endurance is what the aircraft holds on the rotors alone, which is the worst case. Mission endurance is what a real sortie looks like once it is on the wing.
